Description
Cordobond Putty is a powerful two-component epoxy resin with a putty-like structure.
After mixing Activator (hardener) and Resin an exothermic reaction takes place. This results in a thicker substance.
After hardening the material is a strong as iron. Cordobond Putty is not magnetic and does not conduct electricity.
Use
Cordobond Putty repairs tears, holes, cracks, flaws and other defects in steel and other metals.
It also adheres to wood, pottery etc. Metal parts that are treated with Cordobond are extremely
resistant to corrosion. Corroded mortises can be filled with Cordobond Putty. After hardening they can be re-drilled
or mortised. Extra reinforcement can be achieved by covering the material with Cordobond Resin and glass fibre.
Composition
Cordobond Putty consists of two components, Resin and Activator, both packaged separately.
The Resin tin is partially filled so that the Activator can be added and mixed together.
Mixture
It is important that Cordobond Putty is mixed together well; otherwise it will not fully harden.
