In addition to the original use as a repair product for pipes, many new usages have been developed in
combination with glass cloth over time. The Matrix-lamination method that used glass cloth together with the
brush-on Cordobond Standard is impregnated. The cold-welding technique is a frequently used method.
Various types of metal or other materials can be glued together. Partially or completely replaced parts that
are no longer available or which cannot be dismantled can now be produced or repaired by pouring or coating.
For preservation purposes the product can be applied very thickly (at least 300 micron). Materials can be
reinforced by locally applying a laminate of glass fibre or Kevlar cloth.
Reparations in construction, manufacturing and utility companies: Reparation of radiators, air conditioning systems and broken pipes. Sealing of fuel tanks. Connection repairs without welding
Reparations in chemistry, oil and paper industry: Reparation of various types of machinery and torn or
damaged pipes. Production of spare parts that are no longer available. Application of chemical-resistant coatings. Application of indestructible layers.
Repairs in the workshop, shipyard etc.: Seal leaks in boats and or water and gas measuring instruments.
